About Me

I believe that each of us can access our inner wisdom and create the meaningful lives we crave when we are supported in significant ways.

As Brene Brown says:

"The original definition of courage is to let ourselves be seen."

I have been honored to witness this courage by many of my clients on a daily basis for over 25 years now. The power of this transformative work comes from creating a space where women can feel safe, seen and empowered. In creating this space of emptiness and full presence, insights arise, clarity flows and powerful change can be made.

I am inspired every day by the progress and breakthroughs my clients experience... no matter what their story has been. Women have a remarkable strength to overcome and be resilient!

My ability to assist women stems from my own personal journey towards wholeness and healing.

Since my earliest years, I've been acutely attuned to the imbalances women face in our society, igniting a drive within me to create and restore balance between the masculine and feminine. This advocacy began when I first stepped into the role of a crisis counselor at a domestic shelter many years ago.  It was there where I first became aware of the need for holistic approaches to healing. It became evident that traditional talk therapy alone was not enough; it was missing a crucial piece—the somatic, the body mind connection.

It was also during this time, I started experiencing my own inner challenges of postpartum depression which spurred me even more to understanding the mind body connection and so I entered the world of yoga.

“And Now Yoga”: The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali

I became trained as a Trauma Informed Yoga instructor with Dr. Bessel Van der Kolk and went on to deliver countless classes and workshops to women looking to overcome trauma. I also became trained in Wise Earth Ayurveda with Maya Tiwari, and learned powerful methods to restore women’s health and the importance of resolving intergenerational trauma.

As Maya Tiwari says:

“Without realizing it, we often carry the ancestors on our backs. Because their memory patterns are deeply embedded within our vital tissues and cells, we continually re-enact patterns that originate in the history and memory of our family lines. When we do not recognize ancestral traumas we are likely to ferry them into every aspect of our lives."

I began integrating ancestral healing into my work. This involved dissolving old patterns of unworthiness and shame, whether encountered in this lifetime or whether passed down generationally. These collective patterns that show up for women all over the world, feelings of shame, scarcity and lack of choice. These are the internal and external barriers that have held women bound to traditional ways of being and living.

This became mirrored in my own life as I struggled with my own inner barriers and false beliefs of myself. I was challenged in many ways, depression, uncertainty, self-doubt and a sense of unworthiness. I soon discovered that when you seek growth and expansion, the universe will respond with many initiations to help you shed the old skin and step into the new, more authentic version of yourself.

Fortunately, throughout my healing journey, I have always seeked and been supported by others  which  lead me back to my own inner strengths and wisdom. Some of this support came through , from my educational training: Trauma Informed Counseling, EFT (Emotional Training Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). And other trainings of the esoteric, Yoga, 13 Moon Mystery School and Wise Earth Ayurveda.

Today, I stand at the intersection of advocacy, somatic healing, and spiritual exploration, weaving together my diverse experiences to empower women to reclaim their strength, find their voices, and cultivate authentic joy.  I am honored to walk alongside women as they discover the profound depths of their own resilience and inner wisdom. I am in constant awe, they are my inspiration.
